Sex Differences in the Association Between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Depression
- We are studying whether biological sex influences the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and depression among children, adolescents, and adults. This work aims to identify populations at greatest risk and inform more equitable prevention and intervention strategies.
Racial and Ethnic Differences in the Association Between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Depression
- We are studying whether the association between ACEs and depression differs across racial and ethnic groups. By synthesizing the available evidence, this study seeks to better understand mental health inequities and identify opportunities for culturally responsive prevention and care.
